1 Girls League and Route
1 Spring League. Established in 1995, the Route 1 League aims to
provide a safe, recreational, yet competitive environment for youth
hockey activities.
Route 1 Hockey is based at Hockeytown USA, located on Route 1 South in Saugus Massachusetts. Route 1 Hockey also utilizes other hockey facilities in the Massachusetts North Shore area. All events are USA hockey sanctioned.

The Route 1 Girls League is made up of three divisions. Teams are assigned to divisions based on age and playing ability. The league runs from October through April each year.
- The Route 1 Spring League is comprised of ten games, which are scheduled from April to June. Route 1 Hockey is currently accepting applications for the 2004 Spring League.
